Not long after starting my first, “big boy” job, I felt an urge to document my life. It was subtle and masked itself in curiosity. It was also familiar. A little more than a year before it, I felt the same urge whilst I tread particularly influential waters. Looking back, something inside of me desperately wanted to record the changes taking hold. And while my first attempt at fulfilling this urge failed (in 2012), my second attempt succeeded. It started with the first handwritten journal entry of my life and marked my personal timeline as the day I reclaimed my long-lost practice of writing.
