Reclaim 14:2-5

Handwritten Journal

The day Chantal and I spent together was not without fallout. It just came days later. It was a text message exchange that I used as an excuse to disassociate from a gathering of friends. The exchange was neither innocent nor guilty. It definitely tread the very same line we teased nights before.

The honesty of the exchange (sober or otherwise) was heartbreaking for me. At that point in my life, I was quite fragile so it didn’t take much. And, for once, glimmers of true, honest writing sparkled in my journal.

Also, I decided to attend the company barbecue.
